- Long error: The email address you entered isn't linked to a PayPal account. If you don't have a PayPal account, you'll need to set one up with this address so that buyers can pay you. (You can set up your account after your item sells).
Explanation and solution:
This warning would be returned by eBay when the PayPal email address has been changed on eBay, but there are items still set to use another PayPal email on item level. This can be easily fixed for multiple items in bulk and the first step is to go to the Export tab and trigger an export of the guid and ebaypaypalemailaddress headers of the items listed on eBay:
The export file would show the full list of items, which are set to use a different Paypal email and their ebaypaypalemailaddress header can be updated in bulk so the new PayPal email could be applied to them and please see an example screenshot below:
