Explanation:
If you have received an email notification, that your eBay token was going to expire and if it hasn't been renewed in the stated time frame, this could cause a disconnect and also trigger the above error.
Resolution:
In order to restore the sync with eBay, click Channels in the left-hand navigation and select your eBay channel (e.g. "Main"). On the channel page, open the Authorization tab and then, simply click Re-Authorize eBay to start the guided wizard (Step 1: Permissions → Step 2: OAuth → Step 3: Required Settings → Step 4: Complete) and follow the on-screen instructions to sign back into eBay and grant access. Any orders placed on eBay that weren't synced will still import within 24 hours of reauthorization, going back up to 2 weeks.
