eBay Error: CategoryID (*****) not valid for eBay US (1).

Error:

- CategoryID (10064*) not valid for eBay US (1).

- ebayid Main:82 CategoryID (181680) not valid for eBay US (1)

Explanation and resolution:

This error is typically returned when the selected category is located in the eBayMotors section, while US or Default:US has been selected as a value in the Site ID drop-down menu instead when the item has been pushed to the channel. The proper Site ID value needs to be selected in order to correspond to the main eBay category, that the product should be listed to and please see the example screenshot below:
