SureDone can import completed refunds issued on eBay and make them available with the original order through the Orders API.

What is included
- SureDone checks for eligible refunds twice a day. Refunds do not appear immediately after they are issued.
- It covers refunds issued after the feature is enabled for eBay orders sold within the previous 90 days. Refunds that already existed when the feature was enabled are not imported, and refunds on sales older than 90 days are outside this sync.
- The refund total is the seller-side refund amount before selling-fee deductions. It excludes tax collected and refunded by the marketplace. For example, if the seller refund is $100 and eBay separately refunds $8 in marketplace-collected tax, the refund total is $100.
- Item, quantity, shipping, and tax details are included only when they can be reliably established. A missing detail does not mean its value is zero. A partial dollar refund may not include a refunded item quantity.
Where to find the refund
Refund data is available through the SureDone Orders API on the original sale order.
If an order was split or combined, the original order may be archived; API integrations should include archived original orders when looking for refunds. The default order list excludes archived orders, so an integration that reads only that list can miss refunds on archived originals.
Refund amounts are returned as decimal strings, with their currency, so integrations can preserve their exact value.
If another system uses this information, its integration must read the refund data from the Orders API. Availability in that system depends on its integration.
What this sync does not do
The sync reads refunds already completed on eBay. It does not issue a refund, manage a return, adjust inventory, or change an order's payment or order status. Continue to issue refunds and manage returns through eBay.
If an eligible refund is missing after a sync, contact SureDone Support with the eBay order number, refund date, and amount so we can investigate.
