Overview
The Send Offers tool allows you to send exclusive discount offers to eBay buyers who have shown interest in your listings. Buyers show interest by adding your listings to their Watch list or by placing items in their shopping cart and later abandoning the cart.
By targeting buyers who are already engaged with your products, you can increase sales velocity and help move inventory more quickly. When you send an offer, eBay notifies each interested buyer via push notification on their mobile devices and desktop computers.

Accessing the Send Offers Tool
- Log in to your SureDone account
- Navigate to Marketing in the main menu
- Select Send Offers
- Navigate between tabs for the desired eBay instance (if you have multiple)
Viewing Eligible Items
When you open the Send Offers page, SureDone automatically retrieves a list of your eBay listings that have interested buyers. The grid displays the following information for each eligible item:
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| Checkbox | Select items to send an offer to interested buyers |
| Product | GUID (links to product profile in SureDone) |
| eBay ID | eBay listing ID (links directly to the listing on eBay) |
| Current Price | The current listing price from SureDone |
| Stock | Total available stock for the item |
| Message to Buyer | Optional personalized message (up to 2,000 characters) |
| Offer Price ($) | The discounted price you want to offer |
| Discount (%) | Alternatively, a percentage discount off the current price |
| Quantity | Number of items the buyer must purchase (defaults to 1) |
Use the Previous and Next buttons at the top of the page to navigate through your eligible items if you have more than fit on one page.
Creating and Sending Offers
- Select Items: Check the boxes next to the items you want to create offers for. You can also use the checkbox in the header row to select all eligible items on the current page.
- Enter Offer Details: For each selected item, fill in the offer information:
- Message to Buyer (optional): Add a personalized message to accompany your offer. eBay recommends adding a customized message to increase conversion rates.
- Offer Price OR Discount Percentage (required): Enter either a specific dollar amount OR a percentage discount. You must provide one or the other, but not both.
- Quantity (optional): Defaults to 1. Increase if you want buyers to purchase multiple units to receive the discount.
- Send Offers: Click the Send Offers on Selected Items button at the bottom of the page. SureDone will send the offers to eBay, which then notifies all interested buyers.
- Review Results: After sending, you'll see a success message indicating how many offers were sent successfully and if any failed.
Additional Information
Eligibility Requirements
- Only listings with at least one interested buyer will appear in the Send Offers grid
- Multi-variation listings are not supported for sending offers
- Listings must be active on eBay
Unlinked Listings
Some eligible listings may appear with greyed-out, non-editable fields. These are eBay listings that are not currently associated with a product in SureDone. The grid will display these as "Unlinked Listing" with the eBay ID.
To manage these listings from SureDone, you'll need to connect the eBay listing to an existing product in your SureDone inventory first.
Offer Validation Rules
- You must specify either an Offer Price or a Discount Percentage for each item—not both
- If you enter both a price and a percentage, or leave both blank, you will receive a validation error
- The minimum discount allowed by eBay is 5%
After Sending Offers
- eBay sends notifications to each interested buyer with your offer details and message
- Offers have a set duration (determined by eBay), after which they expire
- You can monitor and manage sent offers directly in eBay Seller Hub
Important Notes
- Sending an offer does not prevent other buyers from purchasing the item at the original price
- If the item sells before an offer is accepted, any outstanding offers are automatically canceled
- Offer discounts apply only to the item price—shipping costs are not included
- Standard eBay selling fees apply; there are no additional fees for sending offers
Tips for Success
- Personalize your message: Buyers respond better to offers with customized messages
- Consider your margins: Factor in eBay fees, advertising costs, and shipping when setting your offer price
- Act quickly: Buyers who have shown interest are more likely to purchase while still engaged
- Review before sending: Double-check your offer prices and selected items before clicking Send
