Overview
As of November 2025, eBay allows certain Tuner and CARB restricted products to be listed using eBay's official product catalog. You must use data from eBay's Tuner Parts file to list these items successfully.
Before You Begin
Obtain eBay's Tuner Parts File
The file from November 2025 is attached below. If an updated file is needed, contact eBay or check eBay Seller Resources for the more recent Tuner Parts data file.
Listing Instructions
1. Match Required Fields
Populate these fields in SureDone with values from eBay's Tuner Parts file:
- Brand (brand)
- Manufacturer Part Number (manufacturerpartnumber)
- eBay Product ID (ebayproductid) - Use the EPID value from the file
- Category ID (ebaycatid)
- Title (ebaytitle) - Optional
Critical: Enter the EPID value in the eBay Product ID field only.
2. Clear Conflicting Fields
You must clear the Catalog Fitment EPID field (catepid) if it contains any value. Listings will fail if this field has data.
3. Post to eBay
- Set your price and quantity
- Select your eBay channel
- Push the product to eBay
After posting, eBay controls the product details and description. You control price and quantity.
Troubleshooting
| Issue | Solution |
|---|---|
| Listing fails with EPID-related errors | Verify EPID is in ebayproductid field and catepid is empty |
| "Product ID mismatch" error | Confirm Brand, MPN, and eBay Product ID match eBay's file |
| Category errors | Verify Category ID matches eBay's file |
