eBay Auto Relist Guide

Product Editor

When using the eBay Max Relist feature, you first need to turn on the Auto Relist toggle in the eBay section when you open an item in the UI Product Editor and then there are three fields that need to be filled out unless Action: Do Nothing is selected:

  • Max Relist
  • Action
  • Duration

The three options to choose for Action are as follows:

  • Auction - When this is chosen, after the max relist is reached you can relist it as an Auction one more item and have the option of changing the price during that relist in the Relist Price field shown above
  • Fixed Price - When this is chosen, after the max relist is reached, you can relist it as a Fixed Price listing and have the option of changing the price during that relist in the Relist Price field shown above
  • Do Nothing - When this is chosen, after the max relist is reached, the listing will not attempt to relist and end. If this is chosen, a Duration will not need to be selected and has a value auto-assigned to account for it being filled in.

The options to choose for Duration are as follows:

  • Good Till Cancelled - Only can be chosen for Fixed Price relists
  • 30 Days - Only can be chosen for Fixed Price Relists
  • 7 Days
  • 10 Days
  • 5 Days
  • 3 Days
  • 1 Day

All of the above duration times can be chosen Fixed Price and all for Auction minus GTC and 30 Days. Once these values are chosen, the item is expected to relist following the max relist logic set up.

Bulk Uploader

When adding or editing your items in bulk, if you want to apply the eBay Max relist feature you must include certain fields in your upload or make sure all are filled out at some point before initially listing. For the example, I am going to use your eBay 3 headers for this and input the proper values that are accepted for certain headers:

  • ebayauctionsrelist - Corresponds to the Auto Relist toggle in the UI

    • on
    • off

  • ebayautorelistmax - Corresponds with Max Relist field in UI

    • Any integer value accepted

  • ebayautorelistaction - Corresponds with Action dropdown in UI

    • Chinese - This is an term used in eBay API which corresponds with Auction in the UI
    • FixedPriceItem
    • None - Corresponds with Do Nothing in the dropdown

  • ebay3autorelistduration - Corresponds with Duration drop-down in UI (This field can be left out in your CSV if your Action is Do Nothing)

    • GTC (Only can be used for Fixed Price listing)
    • Days_30 (Only can be used for Fixed Price listing)
    • Days_10
    • Days_7
    • Days_5
    • Days_3
    • Days_1

  • ebayrelistprice - Corresponds with the Relist Price field in UI (This field can be left out in your CSV if you aren't relisting at any point or don't want to relist with a changed price)

    • Any price formatted value accepted

Once you have the CSV set up with the fields necessary, you can submit it as a bulk add or edit depending on whether or not the items were created previously and please see the example screenshot of a bulk edit file below:
