PLEASE NOTE THAT THE ADDRESS TO POINT YOUR WEBSITE TO CHANGED ON MARCH 16TH, 2017.
IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A SUREDONE STOREFRONT (i.e. you have a BigCommerce or Magento site), DO NOT MAKE THESE CHANGES.
PLEASE NOTE THAT DNS CHANGES ARE NOT NECESSARILY INSTANTANEOUS. THEY CAN TAKE A FEW MINUTES TO A FEW DAYS, WITH MOST CHANGES OCCURRING WITHIN AN HOUR. HOWEVER, YOU MAY NEED TO "FLUSH YOUR DNS CACHE" ON YOUR LOCAL COMPUTER TO VIEW YOUR SITE ON THE NEW PLATFORM. IF THE SITE DOES NOT COME UP AFTER SATURDAY, PLEASE SEARCH FOR HOW TO FLUSH YOUR CACHE ON GOOGLE OR YOUR FAVORITE SEARCH ENGINE.
This is for customers that already own their own domain name on GoDaddy. The process is similar for other domain hosts, but you should contact your domain host for assistance.
If you do not own a domain, you will need to register one with GoDaddy.com or another domain host. They often cost as little as $9.
There are two approaches to naming your website. You can either use a "naked" domain (i.e. yourdomain.com) or use a prefix hostname like www at the beginning (i.e. www.yourdomain.com). We recommend using a prefix hostname. If you follow the directions below, when someone goes to your "naked" domain it will automatically redirect to the prefix hostname version.
1. Go to www.godaddy.com.
2. Press Sign In.
3. Press Sign In again.
4. Input your credentials.
5. Press Sign In.

7. Click on the name of the domain you would like to manage.
8. Click on "DNS Zone File".
IF YOU WILL BE USING A PREFIX HOSTNAME SUCH AS WWW (FULL NAME: WWW.YOURDOMAIN.COM) FOLLOW SECTION "PREFIX HOSTNAME". IF YOU WILL BE USING A "NAKED" DOMAIN SUCH AS JUST YOURDOMAIN.COM, SKIP TO "NAKED DOMAIN".
