Chatting with Taska

You can ask Taska questions about your account and listings, or ask it to build a Listing Plan for you, in plain words. Taska never publishes anything from chat directly. Anything that changes your products goes into a plan you review first.

You need the Use AI chat permission to chat with Taska.

Where to chat

  • The Chat page. Open Taska AI, then Chat. Your conversations are listed on the left, grouped into Today, Yesterday and Older. Click + New chat to start a new one.
  • The chat button. Click the chat button in the bottom-right corner of most SureDone pages, such as the Dashboard, Channels and Settings, to open Taska in a panel without leaving the page. The panel's buttons let you see your conversations, start a new chat, open the conversation on the full Chat page, or minimize the panel.
  • Ask Taska on Taska Home. Typing a question there opens a new conversation on the Chat page.

Press Enter to send a message, and Shift+Enter for a new line. Click Stop to stop Taska partway through a reply.

What Taska can help with

  • Questions about your account, your channels and whether they're connected, and your listings.
  • Why a listing failed, and what a channel requires before it will accept a product.
  • Checking whether specific products are ready for a channel.
  • Finding the right eBay category or Amazon product type, and the item specifics a channel needs.
  • Questions about how SureDone and Taska work, answered from the SureDone help center.
  • Building a Listing Plan from a request such as "List my newest products to eBay".

We're always adding new abilities to Taska, so if you're not sure whether it can do something, ask. Taska will tell you what it can do today.

How plans work in chat

When you ask for changes to products, Taska builds a Listing Plan:

  1. If it isn't clear which products you mean, Taska suggests a set of products and asks you to confirm. Click Yes, use this scope, or No, something else to describe them another way.
  2. Taska builds the plan and shows it as a card in the chat. Click Review & approve to open the plan, or Make changes to ask for changes first.
  3. Taska only runs the plan after you confirm. You can also approve and run it from the plan's page.

Taska also asks you to confirm before it undoes a plan.

If you don't have the Run AI listing plans permission, Taska still answers questions and searches products, but it explains that it can't create, run or undo plans for you. See "Managing team access to Taska".

The page banner

When you chat from the panel, a banner at the top shows what Taska knows about the page you're on. On a plan's page, it names the plan and its channels. On a channel's errors page, it names the channel. Otherwise it says there's no page context, and you can ask anything. Click the banner to collapse it.

Conversations are shared

Everyone on your account can see every conversation. A conversation someone else started is marked as started by a teammate. To delete a conversation, click the X next to it and confirm. Deleting can't be undone.

Credits

Each reply from Taska uses credits from your account's balance. If Taska builds or runs a plan for you from chat, that plan uses credits the same way a plan you build in the editor does, and you see its estimate before it runs. The Chat page shows the credits used in the current conversation.

Rate the answers

Under each finished reply, click the thumbs up for a good result, or the thumbs down if it needs work. With a thumbs down, you can add a note about what went wrong.

If something goes wrong

  • Out of credits: Taska can't reply until credits are added. See "Taska billing and credits".
  • Too many messages at once: wait a moment, then send again.
  • Your session expired: sign in again.
  • A message wasn't sent, or the connection dropped: click Retry, or reload the page and send it again.
  • Taska is still answering: wait for the reply to finish, or click Stop, before sending the next message.
