Undo reverses a Listing Plan that has already run. It puts back the product fields the plan changed and ends the listings the plan submitted. Read this before you use it: an ended listing can't be brought back automatically.
You need the Run AI listing plans permission to undo a plan.
What Undo reverses
- Product fields the plan changed, such as optimized titles and descriptions. Undo puts back the value each field had before the run, in the same field the plan wrote. The restored values are saved in SureDone only. Undo doesn't send them to your channels.
- Listings the plan submitted. Undo ends each of them on the plan's channels. This includes listings that were already live before the plan ran: if the plan submitted an existing listing, Undo ends it.
What Undo doesn't reverse
- Ended listings. Undo doesn't relist anything. To bring a listing back, relist it yourself.
- Categories and item specifics that Taska filled in. They stay on the product.
- Credits. Credits spent on the plan are not returned.
- Fields with no recorded previous value. If Taska has no record of what a field held before the run, Undo leaves that field as it is rather than clearing it, and reports it as not reversed.
- Changes the plan didn't actually make. If a planned change was skipped during the run, Undo leaves that field alone.
Undo a plan
You can undo a plan whose status is Run finished or Partial.
- Open the plan from All plans.
- Click Undo plan changes.
- Read the confirmation, then click Undo plan changes to go ahead.
You can also click Undo next to a run on the Run history tab of All plans, or ask Taska in chat to undo the plan. Taska asks you to confirm before it does anything. All three do the same thing.
Read the result
When Undo finishes, the plan tells you what happened:
- Everything reversed. The plan's status becomes Undone, and the message says all of its changes were reversed.
- Some changes left as they were. The plan lists each task that wasn't reversed, with the reason, for example that the field had no recorded previous value, or that ending a listing can't be undone automatically.
- Undo didn't finish. The plan's status becomes Undo failed. Click Try again on the plan or on the Run history tab. Changes that were already reversed stay reversed.
Before you undo
- Check the plan's Products tab to see exactly what the plan changed on each product.
- To keep a record first, click Download changes on the plan to save a CSV file of its changes.
- If you only want to remove a listing from one channel, or fix one field, it's usually simpler to do that directly on the product than to undo the whole plan.
See "Reviewing and running a Listing Plan in Taska" for how to read a plan's results.
