Reviewing and running a Listing Plan in Taska

Every plan starts as a draft. You review it, approve it, then run it. Nothing changes on your products or channels until you run it.

To approve, run, cancel or undo a plan, or skip tasks, you need the Run AI listing plans permission. Anyone with View AI listing plans can open a plan and read it.

The plan page

Open a plan from All plans, or from the link Taska gives you in chat. The top of the page shows:

  • The plan's name and status. Click Rename to change the name.
  • When it was created, the product search it uses, and how many channels, tasks and products it covers.
  • Actions included: which actions the plan will do. A plan that doesn't publish says "Data only. This plan does not publish to any channel."
  • Credits. Before the plan runs, this is an estimate, for example "Est. ~120 credits". Click Show breakdown to see how the estimate is worked out. Once the plan starts running, it shows the credits actually charged and what they paid for: titles, descriptions, category and product type lookups, other AI work, and automatic repairs. Credits returned for failed work are listed separately.

The three tabs

  • Tasks: every task in the plan, grouped by product. On a draft or Ready plan, click Skip this task to leave one out.
  • Products: each product with its channels. Expand a product to see each field before and after the run, and any message from the channel.
  • Not included: products in your search that the plan left out of a channel, each with the reason. See below.

Why a product is not included

When a plan includes Submit to channel, Taska leaves a product out of a channel if the channel would reject it. Common reasons:

  • No product images. eBay requires at least one photo to list.
  • No Amazon product identifier, such as a UPC, EAN, GTIN or ASIN.
  • No condition, and the channel requires one. Turn on Fill missing condition and set a Default Condition, or set the product's condition.
  • No eBay category on the product, and Taska couldn't confidently find one from the product's data. The product still goes to the plan's other channels.

A plan without Submit to channel publishes nothing, so these products are included and Taska prepares their data.

Either way, a product set to always skip a channel is left out of that channel.

To list a product that was left out, fix it in SureDone, then create a new plan.

Approve the plan

When the tasks look right, click Approve. Approving costs nothing and changes nothing, and the plan's status becomes Ready. To change a draft first, click Edit. Only drafts can be edited.

Run the plan

On a Ready plan, click Run with Taska. Taska works through the tasks, and the page shows how many are done.

If the plan's estimate is more than 20% of your remaining credits, a confirmation opens first. It shows the estimate and your balance, and you type RUN to go ahead. If you have no credits at all, the plan can't start. Add credits, then run it.

If you run out of credits: If credits run out during a run, Taska keeps going without AI. Products still waiting for a new title or description are listed with their existing content, and products that still need a category picked are skipped on that channel. The plan shows a message saying so. A plan can't be run again, so once credits are added, create a new plan for the products that were missed.

Read the results

When the run is done, the plan's status becomes Run finished, or Partial if some tasks did not succeed.

Under Channel results, the plan shows what each channel said about each listing:

  • Confirmed: the channel accepted the listing.
  • Confirmed with warnings: the channel accepted it, with warnings shown on the product.
  • Rejected: the channel refused it. The channel's message is shown on the product.
  • Awaiting confirmation: Taska is still waiting for the channel's answer.
  • Confirmation timed out: the channel didn't answer within 24 hours. Check the listing on the channel.
  • Not verified: Taska couldn't confirm the result. Check the listing on the channel.

For a listing the plan ended, the same results read as removals, for example Removal confirmed.

When a channel rejects a listing for something Taska can fix, such as missing item specifics, Taska fixes the product and submits it again automatically, up to two times. The plan shows Fixing listings while this happens, then the latest result. See "Automatic listing repairs in Taska".

If the plan wrote titles or descriptions, a content optimization summary shows how many were completed, failed or skipped, and why any were skipped.

To keep a record of every change, click Download changes to save a CSV file of the plan's changes.

The Run history at the bottom of the page lists each run with its status and credits, and links to the matching entries in Reporting.

Cancel a plan

A plan that hasn't run can be cancelled. Click Cancel plan and confirm. Nothing changes on your channels.

Before you undo a plan: To reverse a plan that has already run, use Undo plan changes. Read "Undoing a Listing Plan in Taska" first. Undo ends every listing the plan submitted, including listings that were already live before the plan ran, and it can't bring an ended listing back.
