I understand sometime in 2018 Magento 1 will not receive security updates for keeping the site safe.  It would be nice to have an update through here to connect with Magento 2 sooner rather than later so we're not scrambling to migrate over last minute.  Please do something about this!  Thank you.

    We are actually in the process of developing a Magento 2 plugin. I don't have the release date but I know it's in active development.
