3.1.1 Amazon Settings

The second step to managing Amazon through SureDone is setup the rules by which SureDone will manage your Amazon listings. These settings allow you to select default settings to apply to your listings. With default settings in place, you can list more efficiently to Amazon by only populating the required fields that change from listing to listing and letting SureDone default the other information.

All of these defaults can be overridden if you provide a different value on the listing, giving you maximum listing flexibility. To reach your Amazon channel settings, use the same procedure you followed to authorize your channel:

  1. Login to your SureDone account.
  2. Click on the Settings Gear in the upper right hand corner, in between the Search and Profile Options.
  3. Click on CHANNELS to take you to the Channels Settings Screen.
  4. Click on Amazon Main to expand the settings menu.
  5. You can manage the following settings for your Amazon channel in SureDone:

· Amazon Sync: you need to switch this on in order to sync with Amazon.

o Set it once and forget it.

o Turning it off will disrupt the connection between SureDone and Amazon, potentially leading to system data corruption.

· Credentials: Your credentials were validated when you authorized your Amazon channel.

o Your token expires once a year.

o Should you need to re-authorize your account, you will receive an email from SureDone

o You can then repeat the directions in Section 3.1 (Authorizing Your Amazon Channel)

· FBA Sync: Click the radio button ON if you would like to sync your Fullfilled By Amazon (FBA) inventory with SureDone.

o FBA Sync active will now pull your Amazon FBA inventory numbers every 30 minutes directly and display it under User Fields and the General section of your listing.

o You can learn more about the FBA Sync in our Guide 3.10 Amazon FBA

· Sync Pending OrdersHaving this feature on will import any order placed even if it hasn't been fully paid for. When OFF, then only fully paid orders will import.

· Restock Canceled OrdersThis feature is ON by default and will restock items that have a CANCELED status imported in

· Import: Please Do Not Alter or use these settings unless specifically trained by SureDone on how to use them.

o These settings will pull data in from Amazon.

o They are predominately used by SureDone during the onboarding process.

o Altering them accidentally can cause duplication of product listings in SureDone and on Amazon and other issues.

· Currency: Choose the currency you prefer to sell in.

· Max Stock Field: Select the field to be used to hold your Max Stock Quantity.

o This advanced feature is explained in a separate article.

o This can be mapped to the same field used for eBay.

o See Section 3.2.4 for more information.

· Min Stock Field: Select the field to be used to hold your Min Stock Quantity.

o This advanced feature is explained in a separate article.

o This can be mapped to the same field used for eBay.

o See Section 3.2.4 for more information.

· Price Difference Rate: You can inflate or deflate all your prices on Amazon by setting a default Price Difference Rate.

o For example, enter 1.06 to list all items on eBay at a price 6% higher than the price stored in SureDone’s price field

o Using the amznprice will override this.

o This is useful for being able to list items on your own website for cheaper than you sell them off on Amazon.

· UPC Field Mapping: Select the Field your UPC Maps to.

o This tells SureDone what type of identifier is being submitted in the UPC field.

o e.g. if it’s an EAN, ISBN, etc. If no value or no mapping, it always sends “UPC”.

Shipping Templates

      o Default to off

o If you have shipping templates set up within Amazon, you can set this to be on.

Now that you have selected all your default settings, you are ready to Set up Amazon XML Mapping.
